We have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm and continuing commitment to the privacy of personal information provided by those visiting and interacting with this web site. We hold the privacy of your personal information in the highest regard. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices.

We recognize the importance of protecting your privacy and our policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you contact the James Project for assistance or to provide information about someone who needs assistance, we will only take the information necessary to provide this assistance and to meet the regulatory requirements under which we operate.  This information will only be available to the board of directors of The James Project and to meet any legal requirement of the government.  Information will not be made public of any assistance requested, offered or accepted. 

How We Determine Who We Assist.

When someone has a need, two or more directors will review the request and make the determination as to fulfilling the requst and the type of assistance to be offered.  We are required to document that assistance is required, what the assistance was and proof that the funds were used for the requested purpose.  If monetary assistance is provided, the James Project will require that receipts be provided for use of the funds and/or The James Project will make direct payment to the party that is providing services/items for which the funds are being used.

The James Project will not provide long term assistance for any individual that requests assistance from the James Project.

The James Project does not provide any assistance to the officers of the organization, to the board of directors or to any one related to these individuals either by blood or business affiliation.
